Esta unidad didáctica va destinada a alumnos de 2ª curso de Primaria.

Está enmarcada en el área de Science.

 

OBJETIVOS DIDÁCTICOS

Los objetivos a conseguir serán:

• Conocer    qué es un vecindario y qué elementos hay en él.
• Establecer las diferencias entre edificios públicos y edificios privados en una ciudad o pueblo
•  Identificar las diferencias entre pueblo y ciudad.
•  Identificar las profesiones que suponen un servicio para la sociedad.
•  Identificar los elementos comunes en la calle.
•  Saber dar direcciones y entender
• Aprender las reglas de civismo básica en una ciudad o pueblo.

3. LANGUAGE CONTENTS

VOCABULARY

o   Public buildings: town council, swimming pool, sport center, library, post office, school, park.

o   Private buildings: baker's, store, chemist's…

o   Elements of the street: bin, traffic lights, zebra crossing, lamppost, post box, bench, pavement, roadway, bus stop,bike path.

o   Types of houses: house and flat

o   Adjectives:big, small, narrow, wide, long, short.

o   Verbs: to buy, to read, to swim, to learn, to do sport, to play.

TASKS

1st TASK:

Pupils will prepare different posters to hang up in different places of their own Street to try people being aware about the safety rules.

2nd TASK:

To label, in english, every building in the village, motivating citizen to learn english.

3rd TASK:

To make a poster about their Street with the different elements of the Street.

1ª ACTIVIDAD:

Los alumnos aprenderán las diferencias entre village y city a través de la proyección de fotografías:

2ª ACTIVIDAD:

Los alumnos a continuación observarán cada uno de ellos dos fotografías en las que deberán completar la información

3ª ACTIVIDAD:

Los alumnos volverán a  observar las fotos y las comentarán utilizando la estructura:

"This is a village because It's small."

"This is a village because there are flats…"

4ª ACTIVIDAD:

De acuerdo a unas imágenes, completar una ficha con información sobre las mismas.

22ª ACTIVIDAD:

Después podrán grabar su dirección y enviarla por el correo electrónico de la clase la grabación a un compañero, éste podrá escucharlo y escribir un modelo de sobre con la dirección del compañero.

23ª ACTIVIDAD:
